Dr. Sameer Jejurikar, a member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute has received the Compassionate Doctor Certificate and ranks as one of the top plastic surgeons in America. The Compassionate Doctor Certificate, which is awarded based on patient reviews and patient voting, is one of the most prestigious awards in the medical community, with around only 3 percent of licensed doctors receding the award each year. Dr. Jejurikar’s professionalism and excellence were also recognized by The American Registry, who awarded Dr. Jejurikar a spot on the Business Excellence Registry.
Dr. Jejurikar, who focuses on facial and body cosmetic surgery, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. His popularity among patients is born not only out of the excellent work he does but also out of his ability to work with each patient individually to achieve their goals.
Dr. Jejurikar completed his medical training at the University of Michigan Medical School (he also attended undergrad at the University of Michigan). Upon completing his residency, he trained at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, focusing on aesthetic surgery.
An active member of the medical community, Dr. Jejurikar devotes much of his time to medical professional organizations as well as writing for medical publications. He is an active member of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as other national plastic surgery societies. He is a high ranking member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Jejurikar has published research and writings in the Journal of Surgical Research, Microsurgery, and many other medical journals.
Dr. Jejurikar also likes to give back to the less fortunate. He does a medical mission trip annually and has worked with Smiles Bangladesh.
