This new service by LRIS makes it less stressful to find legal aid. This service was built by The New York State Bar Association in coordination with, which provides technology for the legal field across the country.


This new service allows lawyers to reach more people and offer a lower cost for their services. The Lawyer Referral and Information Service has helped grow New York legal services. The New York State Bar is the largest volunteer group comprised of 72,000 members.
