Meet Sudhir Choudhrie’s Second Life
Approximately two decades ago, the life of businessman and entrepreneur Sudhir Choudhrie was almost coming to an end because he needed a heart transplant. Sometimes it can be challenging to get some organ transparent, but for Sudhir, he was lucky to get one. This was in 1999, barely two after Sudhir lost his brother, who needed the same organ. Twenty years later, Sudhir Choudhrie lives a normal life, although he has to observe diet and walk for at least 30mins a day. Now in the early seventies, Sudhir is one of the longest living testimonies for a heart transplant. Sudhir's love for business was inspired by his paternal grandparents. At the age of four, it was a dark moment for Sudhir and his entire family when he lost his dad. Together with his brother, they were taken by their wealthy grandparents, who raised and mentored them. In 2017 Sudhir Choudhrie launched his book 'From My Heart A Tale Of Live, Love, and Destiny.' Within 24hrs after launching, the book became the best-selling international book on Amazon. The book is an inspiration to millions of people across the globe. Sudhir believes he was given a second chance to inspire people and continue with his various philanthropic activities. In his successful life, Sudhir Choudhrie has donated millions of dollars to different organizations. For example, in 2009, he donated 2.5 million dollars to Columbia University Medical Centre to establish a cardiology center. Remember, this is the hospital that saved his life in 1999. He believes if the facility can improve on its equipment and technology, more lives can be saved. Over the years, Sudhir has mentored several people in the business world, including his sons Bhanu and Dhairya.
